Affected Users: All users
Generally, those invited to a recorded Teams meeting will have access to the recording by default. If the video needs to be shared with someone who did not attend the meeting, please follow the instructions below.
Troubleshooting or Setup Steps
Step 1: Find the desired recording within Teams via your "Chat" tab on the left.
- Click on the desired chat to find the recording. You may also find the recording when expanding details within the calendar occurence. Click on your recording, then select the "open in Microsoft Stream" option.
Step 2: Select the Share button in the upper right corner and select Share.
Step 3: Select the gear icon at the bottom of the window.
Step 4: Select People in Joliet Junior College.
Step 5: Select the copy link button, then share the link with affected users.
Important: This method will allow for anyone at JJC who receives the link to view the recording. If you want specific individuals to be able to view the recording, you will have to manually input their names in one by one - then share with those individuals only. If you need to share the recording with an individual outside of JJC, you will need to put in a request for Tech Support and Media Services to upload the recording to YouTube for you.
Verification
Verify with your desired recipient that they can access the recording.
Tip: In Microsoft Stream, be sure to check your expiration date on your video. The default is 90 days usually, so if you need your recording past that date, be sure to make that adjustment.
