International Travel Access Request
Summary
Students and staff traveling internationally must request temporary access to JJC cloud resources. Requests should be submitted two weeks in advance and include approximate travel dates, destination country. Access is limited to 30 days and must be requested separately for each country.

If traveling internationally, you must request temporary access to JJC cloud resources before you travel. Access is restricted by default outside the U.S. due to federal and institutional security policies.

Important: Multifactor Authentication is still a requirement. Confirm you’ll have access to a method while traveling.
Prerequisites
- Active JJC account
- Travel to a non-sanctioned country
- Submit before travel to ensure your supervisor and Information Security have time to review
- Provide travel dates (required)
Request Steps
- Go to: myaccess.microsoft.com
- Select Access Packages in the left hand menu
- Click International Travel Access
- Enter Destination Country
- Provide travel dates (max 30 days)
- Business Justification is what you'll need access to
Verification
- On the MyAccess page, click Request History
- Choose View on the specific request
Access requests are valid for a maximum duration of 30 days. Requests must be submitted individually for each country or for longer than 30 days.
Error Messages
"Your sign-in was successful, but it does not meet the criteria to access this resource."
This message indicates you have the correct login information but have not requested a country exception or it has expired.
- You must submit a General IT Request (Related Service to the right)
- Include the country you visited in the request
- Country exceptions are valid for 30 days only and must be requested again
